Just a quick post to introduce a new member to our beautiful retreats in the countryside.

We managed to lay our hands on a totally original Gyspy Caravan that was hidden in a farm auction here in Devon. Up until very recently she was plying around the lanes of South Devon…

Now she has retired to Rocombe Retreat… We are sympathetically restoring her, removing a few non-original fittings she has picked up along the way, replacing the canvas top and canopy, and building her a couple of legs to hold her steady. (If you got onboard as a ‘larger gentlemen’ it felt like you were setting sail as she settled on her leaf springs!

We should have her ready for you to come and try out by 1st July 2016.

Come and try her out – compact, but oh so romantic.
