Safety – We do our very best to provide a safe environment. Please be responsible for your children’s safety at all times, especially around hot stoves and camp fires. Please keep fires small and manageable. Please be aware of naked flames, please keep candles inside the lanterns provided.

Arrival. Your Yurt is available from 3pm on the day of your arrival. It is not possible to have access to the site before 3pm. If you plan to arrive after 8pm then please let us know – thanks.

Departure. On the day of your departure please leave the site before 10am. You are kindly asked to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition. Thank you.

Damages. On arrival we require a cheque deposit for ’damages’ of £100 which will be returned to you at the end of your stay, if there is no major damage to the equipment.

Serious accidents. We cannot accept liability for any personal injury loss or damage which may be sustained by your party or their guest or their property during your stay at Rocombe Retreat, except where it arises from the negligence or wilful default on our part. You will be held responsible for any serious damage done or loss sustained to property during your stay.

Pitch Capacity. It is a condition of your booking that the total number of adults in your party should not exceed the adult capacity of the Tent/Hut as advertised and should correspond with your booking. For more information or to ask about numbers of children over and above the guideline capacity, please contact us.

Lost property. Any property left behind will be returned by post on request only. All lost property will be kept until the end of the season and then disposed of.

Hot Tub. Don’t drown, as we charge extra for cremation.

Respect the Wildlife. It is their permanent home, they aren’t just visitors so sit back and observe in a respectful manner. (Dave here will be watching)
